How To Troubleshoot your Eolis Wind Sensor?
Welcome to Somfy’s troubleshooting video series. Here are some common solutions if your Eolis 3D WireFree Wind Sensor does not work properly.

Step by step procedure
Check the direction of operation by pressing down, and confirm it moves the awning out a few inches. If you need to change the direction of the motor, please refer to the "How to change the rotation direction of a Somfy radio motor?" FAQ.
If the awning automatically retracts every 30 to 60 minutes and no wind is present, it means the batteries need to be replaced. Please refer to the “How to change the batteries in your Eolis 3d wind sensor?” FAQ.
The wind sensor needs to be connected to its mounting bracket for it to function properly. Make sure the round silver magnet is attached to the mounting bracket. You can use a silicone-based glue to refasten if necessary.
